The Attitudes to School Survey was administered in term 2 and students in years 4-6 completed the online survey. The survey has been done before, however, only in grades 5 and 6. Schools use the anonymous data to help them meet the needs of students in areas such as engagement or bullying. It gives teachers data to help target programs directly around these kinds of issues. This year the survey is very parent friendly and is at the back of the newsletter today after its presentation at Education and Planning Committee and School Council last night. At this stage we have no comparison data because this is a new format with different questions however, previously the accepted level of good success was results above 50% were good and above 75% excellent. In 2017 staff will use this data to help us design work to support students.
