This week is Education Week. We started off the week with our Prep Information Morning last Saturday. Some of our existing families came as well as new preps for 2018. It was lovely to see families greeting each other and welcoming new school community members.

We will hold our National Simultaneous Story Telling on Wednesday where all classes read the same story at the same time and schools all over the country had the chance to participate. Thanks to Andrea McGrath for organising.

The Junior School Council has organised our Biggest Heart/Biggest Morning Tea for Thursday. The Biggest Heart is raising money in recognition of Connie Johnson a long term cancer sufferer who has set out to raise money to fund research into breast cancer. So many in the community are touched by cancer in so many ways. Thank you for supporting this cause. The Biggest Morning Tea is an opportunity for parents to come together with staff in a celebration of life. It will be held in the Japanese room at 11.40am on Thursday. Louise Greening will be having a Tupperware display at the morning tea helping to raise funds towards the Biggest Morning Tea. Our community has much to be proud of coming together this week.
