School Enviro Centre Carers
A huge thanks must go to the families who helped out the school caring for the enviro centre and its inhabitants over the break. We are so fortunate to have this program but it can only go ahead with the dedication of staff like Marian Collins, Jodie Cooke and our parents and students. Thank you again.
Parents Helping Out
During the holidays some fencing was installed behind the soccer goals to help keep the balls out of the garden. Thank you to Fiona Van Heeswyk for organising this. Our first working bee will be Saturday February 23rd 9am to 12. We look forward to seeing some new faces there. For families new to the school this involves coming along for anything up to three hours, tidying, weeding, mulching etc. It is a great way to meet some other families. Children are welcome. Watch out for information coming home and if you are not sure call in to the office and see Julia.
Just a reminder that students are supervised by our school staff between the hours of 8.45am and 3.45pm. Students who arrive at school before 8.45 or are at school after school hours should either be enrolled at OSHC with Camp Australia or be under the direct supervision of a parent. As a reminder to families of this safety concern we will begin sending a note home with students who attend outside of these hours. Camp Australia can be contacted on 1300 105 343 if you would like to use this service.
Our new playground is working beautifully for all students. It looks great and everyone is enjoying the activities. Special mention must go to Priscilla Salter for her hard work in leading this project. I know the students are loving it.
